i found these too…these are some older falken ads that i created a few years back. the “black” ads were my favorite, in my opinion, these ads changed falken’s advertising program as a lot of people commented on these ads. we were trying to come up with something different from one, what other tire companies were doing and two, from what other aftermarket automotive companies were doing.
wow it’s been awhile since i’ve posted some photos. i’ve been super busy and haven’t had a chance to update any of my personal stuff until now. i don’t even have time now but i gotta post something up before this site diminishes into thin air. anyways, well, here are some of my most recent rig shots i took in the last few months for work. these are probably going to be the last rig shots i post this year…i hope you guys like them!
just want to note, the g35 and 370z shots i shot but my co-worker ed rodriguez did the post on those…thought they were done really well!
Here are some rig shots I just completed for upcoming print ads. I think my post work is coming along well, still need to work on some edits though.
Wow…it’s been forever since my last post!! I’ve been super busy and haven’t had a chance to post anything until now…but even now, I can only post a few things. Some of you may know, although I do freelance work on the side, I do have a full time job with Falken Tire as their full time photographer. A good portion of my job is to shoot various cars (street or track, hence all the car photos from my previous blogs) for ads, web, collateral, etc. Below are some samples of our 2009 magazine print ads. All the ads are submitted into various car magazines like Super Street, Motor Trend, Car & Driver, and Racer Magazine. So here’s a snap shot of how some of my photos are used.
a couple of months ago at work, i had suggested that we use some rig shots for upcoming ads since we’ve been using a lot of static stuff. so i was told to get whatever i needed to make these rig shots work. so i called up jason siu and asked for his help…he directed me to a company (automotiverigs.com) to purchase the necessary rigging materials. after some practice with jason’s 335, i was comfortable enough to go out and shoot on my own. although i still think i need some practice, here are some the better photos that came out that we are currently using in our print ads.
